I have looked on www.k-d.de, and am trying to figure out how much it would cost to cruise down the Rhine from Cologne to Koblenz, and then from Koblenz to Wiesbaden, but I somehow cannot interpret their price-chart. Sorry, it's a stupid question but help would be appreciated.

Looks like 48.50 Euro per person. They have "scholar discounts" which you mat qualify for, and also discounts if you present a train ticket that shows you are also travelling by rail during the trip. Gary

this is more upstream than downstream Price level "U" applies, i.e. the already mentioned EUR 48,50.
