Luxor I am looking for a Travel partner
Posted: Mon January 21, 2008 09:51 AM UTC
My friend has had to drop out of this trip, and i am now in a dilemma whether to cancel altogether. I am still wanting to go, but i have asked my friends if they would buy her ticket but all all a bit skint after xmas. So i have decided ask you if anyone would be interested in joining me on my trip to luxor. Preferably a female companion. The holiday consist of a week in The Iberotel twin room with Nile view B&B we both paid £429 each and my friend is hoping to get back as much as she can.
If you are interested please get in touch asap as i have to sort this out.

All my love Akeelah

Hi everyone just got back from Egypt/Luxor. It was FANTASTIC. I went on my own in the end, i was a bit scared at first, but soon realised there was nothing to worry about. The people were very friendly; a little bit too much at times, but was great fun. I am glad i didn`t get any sensible replies in the end. It was fine going on my own. I can recommend travelling on your own, you meet lots more people. This way and all the trips i went on was with a local travel agent. ( the prices was so cheap) i saved loads of money.

All the best Akeelah

Well Done Akeelah and welcome back.....So glad you went and so glad you enjoyed yourself. I was afraid you might not go and miss out big style.
I've been three times with others and would really like to go on my own for some of the same reasons as you. There are places I want to spend all day but you can't make other folk do that can you?
This year we're gonna try to rent a flat on the West Bank for two weeks. The first week my friend Gillian and I will do our own things; me sitting at the same site all day, and Gill spending her time at an orphanage.
Then the second week everyone else comes out insha Allah. Then I take them around and try to impress them with the teeny weeny bit I know about what they're looking at.
I'll be proper chuffed if that one works out.
Everybody happy?

Peace and Blessings...Jim...
