This place used to get some very good reviews but nothing that I can see that is recent. Is it still in operation and does anybody have any feedback on what it's like now. First entry I found was in an old Lonely Planet guide. Any feedback gratefully recieved. Excluding this I'm tempted to join the pilgrims at the golden temple itself. What is the position regarding leaving and returning to the dorms as I would probably want to wander off into the city for an evening meal. I'm assuming that there is a seperat enterance for the dorms as opposed to the temple?

I do not know about this guest house now. The SGPC runs the dormitories for travellers and pilgrims to the Golden Temple.

One of the newer sarais (inns) has rooms with beds for foreigners.

It is a bit slow, but still seems to be a decent place. Room rates were around 1400+- in 2007.
