What is the best way to get from Manila to Lucena city and hotel recommendations?

Take the bus. there used to be one in Cubao near ali mall.

there's lucena lines which has a terminal right under the LRT Gil Puyat Station.

If you are from Quezon City, there are a couple of bus companies with stations near the corner of Kamias along EDSA.

Hotel in Lucena? upon reaching the Lucena Grand Central bus station, you can walk to Grand Reviera Hotel. Rate is P1,400 for standard room, small room but its okay. If you are on a budget, beside SM Lucena is Castle something hotel less than P1,000 per room.
