We will be arriving in Switzerland via Zurich on the 31st of January (Thursday) and found out by chance that there is a Lucern Carnival going on that sounds (and looks) really fantastic. Understand there is a big parade that starts on Thursday.
Is it worth going ? Will we be pushing it if we travel to Lucern upon landing (which is at 12:00 and after keeping our bags at the luggage storage at the train station) and take the train to Lucern to experience the carnival ? Or should we just stick to our original plans and go to Lucern on Friday and Saturday ? Will be spending 2 nights in Lucern before leaving for Interlaken on Sunday |
