| Warsaw | Warsaw to Riga Posted: Wed January 16, 2008 01:51 PM UTC
I am planning on getting a bus from Warsaw to Riga, Latvia.
I will be arriving in Warsaw on a train from Colognoe, Germany. how easy is it to find/get to the bus station from the train station, for a foreigner? My bus leaves from WARSAW Dw. PKS W-wa Zach., stan. 13. Also, is this a recommended journey? Anyone had any experience from this? Thanks |

Would a train be a good alternative?
A train from warsaw to Vilinus, Lithuania costs about £24, i think. Then a bus to Riga? I am looking for cost and simplicity. A direct train maybe only a tiny bit more, but it may be worth it. thanks

Hallo,
An alternative could be to take a train from Cologne to Berlin, and from Berlin to Riga you have a direct flight with www.easyjet.com. Also on the 2nd of May germanwings will have direct flights from Cologne to Riga.

It should be very easy to get to the bus station. If your train stops at Warszawa Zachodnia (that's before the Central Station from that direction), the bus station is right next to it. If it doesn't stop there, get off at Warszawa Centralna and go back two stations by another train to Warszawa Zachodnia. Should be simple.
