My fiance and i are planning to book our wedding/honeymoon in the middle of August to St.Lucia. We are going for 9 nights. Has anyone been to St.Lucia in August that can tell me about rainy weather? Any recommendations?

Does it have to be a August wedding? St lucia can have a rain shower any day of the year, but August and September, just like the rest of the Carribean, is hurricane season for St Lucia. Not only could you end up on a beautiful island with it raining for days , but getting there after a storm while they are still cleaning up isn't going to look good in the pictures either. If it were just a vacation I would say go, but get trip insurance. For a wedding I wouldn't recomend it. If you all willing to chance it, I know Sandals includes Hurricane insurance for free with all their bookings, make sure the resort you choose does too.
