Hi,
I'm planning to study english for 3 weeks in Calgary. I intend to arrive there in march and I would like to know about the weather, things to do, subway (transport inside the city) and avaible to work volunteer. If someone (local person preferably) can help me I'll apreciate. best regards Leo |

The weather in Calgary in March is still on the cold side. Check out www.theweathernetwork.com and type in Calgary for current weather conditions. Probably, you will need a light winter jacket (it gets windy). There is no subway, but there is a rail train (LRT) that goes through the city, and also good transit (bus) routes around town. There are plenty of bars, if you are into that, lots of country/western music scene (bring cowboy boots!). Many other different places of interest to check out, including the Calgary Zoo and Calgary Tower, theatre, sports, etc. Check out this website for other ideas!
