I am from Rio in Brazil.I'd like to know how is this country right now?Is this country really free from Indonesian goverment?Do the citizens of this country really speak portuguese?

Yes, Indonesia has no longer control over Timor Leste, as it is now called.
As about portuguese, the inhabitants speak some, especially the older ones. The younger generations speak mainly english as the country is increasingly influenced by Australia's policies... It a very intersting place, with plenty of portuguese churches and colonial buildings scattered all around the island. Un ambraso from Thessaloniki, Yiannis
