I was in Lyon, France last week where I used to live in my youth. I was looking for souvenirs to bring back with me as a gift for someone, but found nothing that would interest my girlfriend. I was looking for something that was typical "Lyonnais", but mostly found only soccer stuff. I look at the airport and at the Le Part Dieu shopping centre, but found nothing.

Now that I am back home, i would like to know if there is any souvenirs I can buy online. Something that would interest a girl that never been to France and doesnt speak french at all.

Have a look at http://www.singulier.com/boutique/index.cfm. You might find something that fits you. I have not checked but may be you can find a miniature Guignol. That is typically Lyonnais!
