white beach is the perfect place for bar hopping, especially during summer when a lot of the resorts have special activities. however, it is crazy swimming at the beach - a lot of outrigger boats are docked so people are competing with them for places to swim.
we went to tammaraw beach (?) this is at the western side of white beach and you have to climb some rocks to reach the place. the beach there is relatively peaceful. also head towards the eastern most part of white beach - where there are no resorts and the beach is not as crowded as the central area in white beach

Sabang is definitely not clean!
Effluence from some businesses and households that line the beach go directly into the water! Ewww!

Manny, I was so disappointed when I went there 2 years ago, I never went back. I hoped they've made some changes since then though.

i suggest u go to white beach. much cleaner water and younger crowd. quiet far from the market but then there are small stalls about 5-10mins. walk from the beach front wherein they sell raw stuff for cooking. i go to white beach every year but not last 2007 since i am already here in canada. accommodations are easy to find, since people will come up to you once you get off the boat and will offer you accommodations that are way cheaper than the ones advertised on net. they are clean but they just have the basics: beds, aircon & fan, tv, shower, toilet and extra room space for luggages or extra bed. which is not bad since you'll just be staying in the room to sleep bcoz you wouldnt want to miss d fun outdoors. me and my friends were able to get a room for just 3,000 pesos for 3days. and there's 6 of us in that room.
