| St. Croix | cheap stays?? Posted: Wed January 9, 2008 07:34 PM UTC
i'm 23 visiting st. croix for a week this february. i've been looking online at places to stay and everything seems real expensive. i'm not afraid of hole in the wall places. would i be shooting myself in the foot if i waited until i arrived on the island to find a cheap local motel/hotel? do these exist or is everything aimed to tourists and expensive?
if you know of cheap places to stay or have any advice please let me know. |

I have never been to St. Croix, but I am trying to plan a wedding and have run across some things you might want to check out.
Cottages on Cane Bay: I couldn’t find a website for this, but I followed a link from the scuba shop - http://www.canebayscuba.com/canebaycottages.htm. I found a coupon that states it is $30 per person per night http://www.crewdiscount.com/details.php?cdid=1000
