could you please tell me how much a taxi fare would be from cruise ship terminal to the sambadrome on the 03/02/08.and can you book return fare. thank you

This is a wag, but I´d say some R$ 20. It´s not that far. Booking a return will be difficult, depends on the driver.

Two years ago my cab driver would not agree to pick me up after the parades. I waited in a long, long line for nearly an hour to get a taxi to take me back to Copacabana. The charge was R$100 -- outrageous, but it was a driver's market.
