Re: Vancouver Island in June for Family...need something relatively inexpensive... Posted: Fri January 25, 2008 09:01 PM UTC
Hi We took a day tour from Vancouver the first week of July'07 which included the return ferry trip to Vancouver Island. We did not see any whales close up but our guide told us he sees them nearly every trip that time of year. I think the ferry trip took 90 minutes and was very nice. Victoria is a very nice town, when we were there we went to the museum which had the Titanic Artifact Exhibition as a feature. Recommend you make the trip whether it be 1 day or several, it is well worth it.
We went Land & Sea Tours www.vancouvertours.com phone 604 255 7272 and the tour included the Butchart Gardens, cost $159 per adult.
Good Luck,
Mike
