| Bari | Options for Bari to Dubrovnik(Or elseware) in the March Posted: Tue January 8, 2008 11:55 PM UTC
I am visiting Bari from March 11th to 18th(tickets already purchased) and did not do my research before choosing these dates. I had my heart set on visiting Dubrovnik for a few days, but have come to find that the only ferry that runs in the Winter only runs on Wednesdays, which makes this virtually impossible.
Are there any other options for travel to Dubrovnik that runs more often in March? Or are there any other cities across the Adriatic to visit where travel from Bari is more realistic in this time frame? Any advice is much appreciated...Thanks! |

I can't help you with the Balkans, but I can assure you that the region around Bari is fantastically rich in things to see, so you shouldn't feel too deprived.

Unfortunately, there are no direct flights from Bari to Dubrovnik;about the ships,I've tried to control the Bari's port internet site, but no infos:it seems that,in the winter,Jadrolinya on Wednesday is the only option(Azzurra line is another choice, but in the warm period).
However you have a great choice because you can reach easily from Bari many other nice places to visit:my personal advices are Lecce and Trani. You could see this internet site www.viaggiareinpuglia.it to have an idea of what to visit nearby. Bye!
