We're visiting Toronto this year preferably between June & September. Is there a best time to avoid mosquitoes?

To specifically answer your question: YES! My answer is as complete as your profile as to where you are from.

The later the better; I used to plan camping trips for early September because the mosquitoes, the humidity and the crowds had mainly gone. With mosquitoes around, you need to be aware of West Nile disease - use repellent and cover up exposed areas of skin. Mosquitoes aren't particularly a problem right in the city.

Mosquitoes within the actual city of Toronto are negligible. If you are venturing to the outskirts .... suburbs or further then to answer your question, the population diminishes in August. As with everywhere else in the world with these insects, they are at their height at dusk and dawn.

May or June is your best bet as they are too young to bite. But i wouldn't worry about it as there are hardly any around the dwtn area

You hardly see mosquitoes in Toronto at all, except in parks around dusk. So don't plan your time of visiting Toronto around that.
