| Helsinki | Ferry problems in March Posted: Mon January 7, 2008 06:23 PM UTC
Looking at a possible trip to Scandinavia in March which would include a ferry crossing from Helsinki to Tallinn. Are there any problems with this crossing in early March?

If you take a ship, no worries. But if you choose a faster catamarin or so, those vehicles wont work if its too windy. So take a slower(only 1-2 hrs slower)ship. The ship takes appr. 4 hrs. and the faster boats takes appr. 2-3 hrs, so not so much difference.

Book through Tallink on the MC Star, it's newer ferry that does the trip in 2 hours and not effected by the windy weather!!
