Can someone pls tell me which are the 3 best tombs they would recommend to visit in the Valley of the kings

there are only about 3 open at a time so you wont have a choice of which ones you want to go through. they do this so that help preserve the tombs better after years of people touching and taking pictures of everything.

Hi I like Thutmosis III, Thutmosis IV and Seti II

It is not true that only 3 tombs are open at a time. It is true that you only normally get to visit 3 tombs on a tour since you can buy a 3 tomb pass and take your pick. Many tours tell you only 3 are open to prevent whinning about which ones you visit or don't visit.

Tutmosis III is my favorit!! But was closed the last time I was there, maybe next month...... To recognise the uniqueness of this tomb you will have to visit some of the more "ordinary" ones, like Ramses VI.

There is one double tomb, where two kings or princes were buried, but I forgot the name. This one is very beautiful as well.

Than Horemheb... still on my wish list! I do hope it will be open next month!!

Hi again I think Dora may mean the Tomb of Tawosret and Sethnakht (KV14)close to Seti II. I agree with her. It is very beautiful.

Katy, you are right! I meant that one, but I was crosseyed: there is also a tomb of Nakht in the Valley of Nobles.

Tutmosis III was open in December as was Tausert and Setnakht. Lucky you Dora I've got to wait until December again.
My favourite is Rameses III but the side rooms were closed off.
