Hi can anyone please advise me on decent 3 to 4 star hotels close to Mumbai and Delhi airports between Rs2900 to Rs4000 please. Clean & safe for two ladies.

Arriving in Mumbai on the 17 January 2008 Spending 6 nights in Mumbai and 3 nights in Delhi. If not close to airportjust as long as we can get there safely but close to interesting sites and shopping. Thanks

Please find the hotel near airport in Boombay and Delhi:

Bombay: my suggestion would be stay in Juhu beach area as u are stay for 06 days. If you stay near airport hotel u would be bore for 06 days. atleast in Juhu you can enjoy the beach.

Delhi: my suggestion would be stay at city centre hotel then near airport hotel as u will not enjoy the beauty of night shopping of city centre in airport hotel. Airport hotel is 30 min drive from city centre. You will be bore if you stay in airport hotel.

Delhi : Stay within the city , maybe near CP ( Connaught place) which is the main shopping area plus lots of restuarants and well connected. You can also catch some nearby monuments like India Gate, Rastrapati Bhawan ( President's house) and even Old Delhi with ts historical places is nearby. It is also connected by Metro or what you call the 'tube' in london. Travelling by Metro ( if you know your way around a bit) is faster plus you will not get fleeced by taxi drivers. Rs. 4000/- may be a bit tight for the 4 or 5 star hotels as this is the tourist season but you can get good choices.

Suggest you shortlist on the net basis price, service etc. and then ask for a view on the shortlisted ones. Are you guys going to Agro / Tajmahal which is a 2 hrs ride from Delhiby fast train.

Hi thanks so much for the replies. I've checked out the hotels in Mumbai but they don't have anything available in my price range. Do you know of any Hotel in Colaba. The Godwin Hotel has nothing available any other hotel in that area with more or less the same rates and clean rooms and bathrooms Rs3000 to Rs5000. Once again thanks to all of you.
