Hostels in San Diego

Hostelling International
San Diego is fortunate to boast not one, but two HI locations, the HI Downtown location is just minutes from the San Diego Airport, providing visitors with an easy outlet to such popular area attractions like SeaWorld, Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo! The HI Point Loma location is just a short distance from Ocean Beach and the nighttime hot spot of Newport Street.
The Ocean Beach International Hostel
If you're looking to get plenty of sun during your upcoming San Diego then I , recommend checking out the totally cool Ocean Beach International Hostel, also known as OBI. Located next to the scenic Ocean Beach shoreline, OBI is the place to be if you're looking for fun during your upcoming trip! Located in the heart of San Diego, OBI is close to exciting neighborhoods like the Gaslamp Quarter and Downtown, while area activities include everything from snorkeling and whale watching to boogie boarding and sun bathing! Loads of great bars and nightclubs are also located within walking distance of the OBI, so go ahead and check it out during your upcoming vacation!

Other great hostels in the San Diego area include the USA Hostels San Diego branch and the Banana Bungalow San Diego. All of these accommodations are super cheap, providing visitors with exceptional service and friendly staff. If you're planning on utilizing one of the San Diego hostels during your upcoming trip, its recommend to bring your own bed linens, as many hostels will charge you extra to rent an in-house set.
