Things to do in Montreal in January

Hi everyone! I´m travelling with a friend to Montreal from January 20 to January 30. Never been there and not really used to such low temperatures!
Kindly advice us on what to do, visit, etc., during our stay!

Hi!

The Snow Fest will be on, starting January 26 (http://www.fetedesneiges.com/en/). A visit to Mont-Royal on a nice day should also be fun (http://www.lemontroyal.qc.ca/en_index2.html). If you're looking for something to do indoors, you might want to check out the Biodome (http://www.biodome.qc.ca/). It's also nice to walk through the streets of Old Montreal and do a bit of shopping downtown on Ste. Catherine Street. When you get to Montreal, make sure to pick up a free tour guide, published by Tourisme Quebec (they're available in most hotels and tourist info centres). You'll find a description of pretty much all the attractions, museums and things to do in Montreal, along with a restaurant guide and a winter activities section.
