Hi my wife and myself will visit ko samui, 7 to 17 feb 08. we are thinking about staying at the banburee hotel and spa, can you please give me some genuine reports on this hotel and location, as i have been reading some mixed reports and reviews. were do you recommend for really good spa treatments, something lasting up to 2 hrs.as we really enjoy massage and spas.would 10 nights be to long to spend in this hotel, or should we stay 5 nights and some other hotel for 5 nights, read the boat house was good accomadation, old rice barges converted into rooms. would like any comments and tips, for our stay.please reply as soon as possible. many thanks

There are quite many good spas around like Eranda, Four Seasons, the spa in Kandaburi hotel etc. It really depends on the budget that you have.
I have not stayed in Boat House before but I live quite near there. The beach there is good and the hotel looks great. Boat House is located in Cheong Mon which is a nice quiet place. You can also get some good location food from the restaurants at the beach and there are also some great bars around the area. But shopping is very limited there. What are you looking forward to doing in Samui? I can only give you better recommendations if I know what you want to do. You can write to me at judy@vikingbar.net if you wish.
