Re: Tours of Kelh Germany Posted: Sat January 5, 2008 11:50 PM UTC
Most interesting is probably the "garden of two (river) banks".
Otherwise Kehl is not really interesting. Don't think that there are any tours.
You can use the trains or the CTS bus line 21.
There is a ticket covering public transport in Strasbourg (CUS) and the Ortenau region (TGO)
http://www.ortenaulinie.de/tgo_dateien/TGO_Linienplan_A07.pdf
(the CUS network is not shown with all tram and bus lines on this map)
24h ticket covering both networks (CUS+TGO)
EUROPASS 24h EUR 7,20
EUROPASS-family 24h EUR 10,30 (2 adults and 0-2 children under 12)
Oberkirch/Kappelrodeck/Achern are famous for their wine and have many wineries
a nice town is Gengenbach

a bit deeper in the Black Forest you can find the Black Forest Open Air Museum Vogtsbauernhof (near Hausach)

also in the TGO area: the Europa-Park in Rust. Germany's biggest and best leisure park
