am coming to penang with 4 teenagers have heard about orangutan island and water park any ideas about the best ways to get there.thanks

Orangutan island in Penang??? I thought it is in Sabah, East Malaysia.

the place you are talking about is approx one hour drive from penang bridge. the place is called lakestown so if you google lakestown malaysia it will show their web site. If you hire a car its an easy drive from penang or you can hire a driver to take you there but could be a little expensive that way.
Lakestown is fantastic and well worth the trip. my family of teenagers all fell in love with the orangutans and the ECO park is excellent. Get the COMBO FAMILY ticket as you will save money as this will admit you also the the water theme park. You will need a complete day. I drove from batu ferringhi at 8.30am and was at the front gate around 10.00am. Its closed Tuesdays and EXTREMLY BUSY Friday,Saturday and Sunday we went on a Monday and a Wednesday and had the place to ourselves. Hope this helps
