hi everybody!!

although the main non-african language seems to be french, do you think that somebody who speaks english can travel around ok intepentently?
i mean, without tourist companies, so have to communicate with locals for hotel, food, bus etc...
must be a little hard?

Hi! If you speak only english, you'll need a guide to help you! Unless you will suffer french speaker in Senegal!

we know that in africa there are 250 languages and dialect
andin now day spcialy in senegal the talk french and it's thier oficiel language .
at the hotels or the station they can comunicate with forgien peopl
so i think you will not have any trouble to comunicat or to move around

sorry i forgot to say that the administration try to give this jobs ( reception train station checker ...... for peopl that can comunicate and hom studied english and spanish

in my opinion you will not have any prob to travel
i mean without a guide
