The #222 bus has been discontinued. Do you know if it will be in operation again in April when I plan to be in Israel?

Thank you for your help. I had seen the Egged site and it said the bus was temporarily discontinued so I was just wondering if it will be in operation again in April.

Was this the bus going from the airport to the hotels in Tel-Aviv? Now there is a train from the terminal to the city so this bus is not needed any more.

Also, as far as I remember bus #222 was a Dan bus and not an Egged one. Again if you refer to the airport bus.

If you refer to the Egged tourist bus going to Jerusalem, you can email them at: israel-4-u@eggedtours.co.il and ask about it. It is still on their web site.

Bus #222 is operated by United Tours which is part of the Dan co-operative. It has nothing to do with Egged. Looking at the Dan site I don't see the line. It seems it was removed from their WEB site. Anyway, with the completion of the train station in the terminal, the bus became redundant. You can take the train to Ha-Shalom station or "Tel-Aviv Center" stations and get a bus or a taxi from there to the hotels area which is 5 minutes drive from there. If you let us know which hotel you need to get to, I could find the exact bus going there from the train station.

With all due respect to this site, I think the Dan site is a little more up to date. Anyway, all the major hotel can be found along Ha-Yarkon street which is easily accessable by buses from the train station.
