Hello. Are there any casa paticulares in Varadero or is it just totally one big tourist resort with A/I hotels complexes only?
I may end up there for a night or 2 and so will need some kind of cheap place to stay for just a short time. Gracias. |

The hotel zone of Varadero is close to the town of Varadero and Cardenas, both of which will have casa particulars, possibly not all the government "legal" ones. I would recommend you scout out cuba-junky dot com and print a list to take. You could also ask around once you get there but you should not have any problems, have a great time.

i have been to varadero twice in the past 6 months and i know that they have quite a few casa particulars but as far as i have red on the cuba junky website none of the casa's are government legal ones....as for cardenas i am not too sure

What do you think about the hotels there? Are they a bit pricey?
