Arinsal is very casual - some [but few] dress up. High heels are not really appropriate if [like us] you have an uphill climb to your hotel in snow! I wore jeans/cords with apres ski boots/sketchers for duration of holiday - even on new years eve there was no one really dressed up at hotel. Its a wonderful way to holiday.

I'd leave them at home if only because everywhere is on the side of a mountain! Hardly any flat areas at all. Beautiful though.
