Would like to know how much do these pvt villas cost on a daily basis? Is it too much for just a couple? How safe is it?

On the website www.vinow.com, there's something abt villa rentals that sounds like a great plan. But there's no mention of prices though. Was hoping a local or someone who has stayed in one there, could guide me.

It probably stands for private villas....there are a ton of them in the Virgin Islands, and prices will vary depending on size, location, etc. Hope this helps! :-)

www.vinow.com does not list the prices because they do not manage or rent the villas. You have to go to either a site like www.vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owner) or do a google on villa rentals st. thomas usvi.

Depending on the season you will spend as little as $90/night or as much as $4000/night.

Most villas on St. Thomas are reasonable for a stay in paradise. Most are at least semi-private and safe. If you read the message board on www.vinow.com you will find out a little bit more about this. Also try www.usvi-on-line.com. The message board on there is geared a bit more to St. John but you will find nice people there who will be glad to give you good information on St. Thomas.
