Can anyone tell me what is the cheapest way to get to Isle of Skye? Unfortunately I don't have a car!

Thanks a lot!

Citylink single super saver glasgow-portree apparently is 6 pounds. That must be the cheapest except for hitching. http://www.citylink.co.uk/

As mentioned, hitch-hiking is cheap - and a realistic option.

Walking is free, and fun to cross the Skye bridge.

Cycling is cheap too. Assuming you rent the bike.

CityLink Coach from Inverness is probably most of interest to you.

Ferry options and paddling are also worth listing, it being an island. Swimming is not so simple, due to strong currents.
