My boyfriend and I are going to be in Tahoe(Heavenly) for New Year's. Neither of us have been there before. We are looking for something hip/cool to do. Any ideas???

The NYE bash in SLT changes from year to year, particularly depending on the snow forecast. Typically the block off a section of main street with police barricades and the party and countdown moves outside. After that, everyone wonders back into the bars and clubs. I cant recommend any specific bar at the moment because I don't know who is hosting with which themes this year.
