| Punta Cana | Visiting other resorts?? Posted: Sun December 23, 2007 03:06 PM UTC
I have a wedding to attend at the Ocean Sand Golf & Beach Resort and I was wondering if I can stay at a different resort and then go to the wedding anyways. Do they give wristbands for those who stay at that resort? Can I buy a day-pass at the Ocean Sand/Blue? Could I just show up? Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

The norm is that the wedding guests stay at the hotel in question at least for the wedding day/night. All hotel guests staying at resorts all over the country will receive a wristband, and at some places they sell day passes. I haven't been in Punta Cana so I can't answer that.
I wouldn't recommend to show up just like that, but if it's possible you could stay at that resort the wedding day and check out the day after and check in somewhere else if you so want it. In any case, contact the hotel at http://www.oceanhotels.net/english/ocean_sand_golf
