| Verona | Changing Trains Posted: Sat December 22, 2007 10:24 PM UTC
We are travelling from Munich to Nice and have a stopover in Verona from 11 p.m. to 12.40 a.m. Is anything open at this hour, and will railway staff be available to assist?

My gut instinct is that nothing will be open and there may only be a handful of security guards around. That being said, I can't imagine why you would need assistance. If your connecting train is running late, it will be posted on the departures schedule and it will be very obvious. If your first train is late and you miss the connection, you'll just have to consult the departure board to see if there's another train, and since there probably won't be (at that hour) you'll want to head to a nearby hotel. If you need help with your luggage... you're crazy to think Trenitalia offers that service!
