I live in the United States and would like to buy my daughter a gift card from Donners. She lives in Rotterdam. How do I purchase a gift card?

hi, I worked at Donner 13 years until 2003.
Anyway, a 'boekenbon' is what you could buy, these are generally available from any bookstore, that's why bookstores usually don't sell individual gift vouchers.
However, Donner belongs to the Selexyz group. They have a gift card (the Selexyz Cadeaukaart), like a credit card, with a saldo from 5-150 euro, unlimited validity. It can be used in any of the Selexyz bookstores, and you can also pay with it for online orders.

I suggest you email to donner@selexyz.nl to ask how you can buy one from overseas. If this causes any problems, I'd be happy to make a call for you.
