Hi Chris,
A/C and guesthouse are generally indications of different categories. Most GH's are fan-only. Best combination we can recommend is Gimanhala Transit Hotel in Dambulla town. A/C, even a pool and still decent prices of around 25-35 USD. Fax/phone 0094-66-2284817 Have fun, <Erik> & [Sandya]

Hi,
As suggested by Eric Gimanhala is good. But I would suggest you stay in Sigiriya which is approx 10km away (15 min drive) where you will have an option of guest houses with AC rooms & is a far better place to base yourself. Lion Rock, The Grand, Serendipitiya are some options for AC guest houses. ( price would be between $25 - 30 Best Rgds, Emile.
