Several postings seem to indicate that the drive from Dushanbe to Penjikent is horrible and advise against this road. Is this true ? Are the alternatives, e.g. flying to Khujunad and taking a train/bus from there or taking the train via Termez, any better ? What is the best way to get from Dushanbe to Sammarkand ?
Several postings seem to indicate that the drive from Dushanbe to Penjikent is horrible and advise against this road. Is this true ?
Are the alternatives, e.g. flying to Khujunad and taking a train/bus from there or taking the train via Termez, any better ?
