I have never fished out of Maui. There are a number of charter boats that go out of the harbor at Lahaina. http://www.fishmaui.com/boats.html. The Maalaea Harbor is 25-30 minute drive from Kaanapali without traffic. I would like to see if there are any specific recommendations also. Karl
