Help!

We are a family of four coming to Alsace for a week on Sat 22 December. We are (unsurprisingly) finding it difficult to find somewhere to stay (self catering). We would like to stay near Strasbourg or Colmar or Mulhouse. Can anyone recommend a website that may have availability?

Personally I have used http://www.gites-de-france.com/gites/uk/rural_gites for many many years. Both cottages (gîtes and B&B) and was never disappointed.

We've never been disappointed with the Gites de France. If you want something really special, look at their Gites de Charme.

The thing we like about the gites is the people who run them. Every host we've had so far has been a delightful person, very interesting and helpful and certainly knowledgeable about their area. They are required to have tourist information available too.
