Hi Everyone,

i have been looking online for some direct flights to skopje from the uk. we would like to fly from either glasgow/edinburgh or london. can anyone recommend the best way to get to skopje?

You can take the JAT, they have decent prices, check

It's an OK airline, somewhat old airplanes, average food (not too bad) and decent on-time performance.
You would connect in Belgrade. Just in case: there is also a late evening train from Belgrade to Skopje, costs about 22 Euro o/w + 10-15 Euro the sleeper surcharge. You will certainly reach the train from the airport. There won't be a problem to buy the ticket even on the short notice.

There aren't any direct flights from UK to Skopje.
I could recommend going through Viena, Dusseldorf , Zurich , Berlin airport. The flights are operated by Macedonian Wing Carrier MAT . Link: www.mat.com.mk.

Or you can go through Zagreb with Croatia Airlines , which has two times a week flights London-Zagreb- Skopje. I have been two motnhs ago with them in Paris and I could easily tell you that it is very solid company. web: www.croatiaairlines.com

I have also used JAT , but I am not recomending it , due to very bad connections .

thanks for the info Kajser-MK. i ended up going via zagreb with croatia airlines. they are part of the star alliance so was happy to go with them.
