We will be spending a week in Rabat next April; two traveling grandmothers. We'd love to stay in a riad in the Medina, but just a bit apprehensive about toilets, showers, etc. Any suggestions, recommendations? The websites do not address these concerns...Thanks for any assistance!

Hello,
You will find a western bathroom in most city hotels & riads. Only the cheaper end of the market and country / mountain places have the more primitive squat toilets. If you think you might find yourself in this situation....take flip flops. Have fun Sue
