many vt members have given opinion about some of the restaurants in rawang and some members also have written about the difficulty in locating these restaurants. we would be interested in the chinese eateries and if details on locating these are provided it would go a long way helping us to locate these resturants.

we are not sure if there is much to sightsee but if there are some interesting places, do let us know (please leave k.l.) out as we feel it too difficult to drive in k.l.

Just curious - why Rawang ? Its just another small town not far from KL. Nothing realy to see. (personal view) If you drive around the town, you can find the restaurants. Agree, its not worth to drive in KL - the traffic jam will spoil your holiday and parking fees are "relatively" expensive too

why rawang? duta palms resort will be our base to explore the various options around rawang - templer park etc

you are absolutely right in saying that it is easy to pick out restaurants in a small town, what is often difficult is to pick our the right ones. only experience can tell which restarant ( even though it may not be located in a fancy place ) has its own soul and therefore following of patrons. it is far this reason that i posted the question.

by the way i was just about to write and thank you for your clear and concise guide about car hire in langkawi. your guidelines will be of immense value in deciding whom to choose eventually from the huge number of options.
