Hi,
Does anyone know if there are luggage/baggage storage facilities at GUA airport? I need to store a small bag at the airport for about one week in Jan 08. If so roughly how much does it cost per day (24-hours). Many thanks in advance, Cheers DJ |

Hi there, As far as I know there is no storage place at the airport. Normally what I've read from other travellers is that they leave it at a hotel or restaurant after befriending those folks. People in guatemala are very friendly and will try to help you out if they can. I suggest you post your question on the thorntree.lonelyplanet forum also. Good luck.

There was no left luggage place there before the current remodeling started and there are unlikely to be any now or in the near future. It will be nice when there are again ATMs, kiosks and a bank. If you stay overnight at a Guate hotel and return there a week later to stay, that would be the best approach, although making a reservation to return would probably work. Closest hotels are in Zone 13 and 10.
