On Cozumel it is fairly quiet at local establishments where Playa rocks every night. Tourist ferry is about $11USD and the last one from Playa is at 11pm if I remember correctly on a 45 minute ride. The Sonora Grills is great for eating and the Blue Parrot in Playa is a very popular beach dance club. You may wish to check out cozumelmycozumel dot com. Have fun.

It's very easy to get from Playa to Cozumel. Several ferries run often. The best Pina Colada was available in a small place with the funkiest tables and stools made from trees, just off the ferry on the Playa side near Senor Frog's. In Playa there is the coolest Bar/Restaurant called Axul. Tell the taxi driver you want to go to the bar that's a cave/cenote it's a few blocks west of La Quinta.
On Cozumel get off the ferry and make a right walk the street along the waters edge for a few minutes and you'll come to RocknJava Bar and Grill. We walked in to the sound of Led Zeppelin and it got better from there. They had the best food we had the entire week we were down there. Great Vegetarian Burgers and fries too.
