Thanks for all the information about trains to Seville, it is very helpful and much appreciated!
I was wondering if there was anything of particular interest happening in the Algarve around Christmas time, or anything that you could recommend to seeor do. We are there from the 20th until the 27th, getting there isnt a problem as we have a car. Thanks! Tarryn |

There are a number of eventa that week, but a lot of energy is being saved for celebrations over the weekend of 29/30 leading up to of course 31st and New Year's Eve.
Try taking a look at the various local council websites. They are in Portuguese only but you should be able to get the drift of things. These website are, for example, www.cm-albufeira.pt Change the name of the town (eg cm-portimao.pt to check other towns and cities. Portimao has a temporary ice skating rink in the city centre I see!
