My son aged 10 and I are planning to visit G-P in early January for a few days for him to take some snowboarding lessons and both of us to have some fun in the snow. I'm not a skier myself - any suggestions for where would be the best place to stay?

Just about all these hotels (both links), include a continental breakfast in the room price. In case you get tired of being outside, they have the Ice Stadium where you can skate, and the large indoor swimming pool, (wave pool). Some of the hotels used to offer free passes for the pool.
