My wife and I will be visiting Srinagar and Gulmarg at the end of Dec 2007. I heard that the Srinagar airport has very tight security and hope VT members can advise me on what to expect when we are there.
Also, am I allowed to hand-carry my digital camera onto the plane from Delhi to Srinagar, and on the way back from Srinagar to Delhi? This is because I think the Himalaya mountain scenery should be very beautiful during the flight and I intend to take some photos while on the plane. Regards Victor |

any elecronin itmes are not allowed in hand baggage when travelling from srinagar to delhi

How about the flight from Delhi to Srinagar? Are digital camera allowed on the plane?
