Hello everybody!

May I know what bus companies/public van plying the CDO-Iligan route and where I can find them in CDO? Are there many buses every during late afternoon? Lastly, roughly how much is the bus fare?

It has been a couple of years but the cost was about P100, going from Iligan to CDO. I expect it would be no more than P150 now. There is a bus and jeepney terminal on the outskirts of CDO. Not sure where exactly but you can ask a taxi to take you there or a jeepney if you are more adventurous. If you are not on a tight budget, you could just ask the taxi to take you all the way to Iligan City.

If you have a fast internet connection, you can download my "Around Iligan bay" video. It shows a trip by ship from Cebu City to Ozamiz City, then around OzamiZ City, then by ferry then bus from Ozamiz City to Iligan City, then around Iligan City, then bus to CDO, then around CDO then ship back to Cebu City. I have sent you a personal message in your VT mail. Just read it. I forgot to mention that buses plying CDO to Iligan are all stationed in the Bulua-Westbound Bus Terminal. Bus fares has recently increased or returned to normal rates. Not sure how much it costs now but definitely it won't cost more than 200 Pesos. There used to be stiff competition among bus companies that fares dropped so low that it was like riding a provincial jeepney.
