Hi i'm spending a only few days in Mumbai 8th to 10th of Dec. I'm staying around Bandra area, so any ideas of things to see and do would be great. And all so any names of good bars too. Many thanks

Well it is hard to suggest things to see, if one doesn't know what you are interested in. There are lots of temples, monuments and sites to visit in Mumbai. My recommendation would be, get yourself a guidebook (like Lonely Planet, Rough Guide etc.) read what's there and take your pick.

Hi - don't know what you like to do. Skip any of the museums - they're not very good. Check out the Gateway and take a boat to Elephanta Island. Or just walk the area around the Gateway. Check out some markets and have some street food!!

Lots of bars in Bandra area - H20, Zenzi, etc. Pick up a copy of Time Out Mumbai when you land. They'll be plenty of information in there. If you come to Juhu (maybe 15 minutes by rick from Bandra), check out Enigma at the JW Marriott. Call first and check the cover charge (if that's important) and also if they allow stags (if you are) (can't remember). It's a great place for people watching - models and Bollywood celebs. It's also allowed to stay open later then other bars since it's located in a 5 star.

Enjoy!

Typically if you are not staying at the Marriott you will be denied entry if you are an unaccompanied male. You might still head down as you can drink in the side bar and watch the glams go in. If you want a nice casual evening you might try Leopold Cafe. Good place for food and drink and you can head upstairs to catch whatever match is on at the moment. Good place to meet and talk to people from all over. It is also within walking distance from the gate
