Pulau Langkawi Travel Forum

I go to Langkawi on my honeymoon on Saturday 15th December and I'm so worried about the weather! I've been told it is stormy and cloudy and rainy all the time and I'm worried that we won't see any sun!!

Can anyone tell me if they are just thundery showers or am I going to spend my honeymoon indoors?!!

If you are on your honeymoon, it isn't such a bad idea to be staying indoors quite a lot :)

Its my first time on this forum and wow! How fabulous.

I went home, spoke to my husband and you are right, the important thing is that we are married and it wouldn't matter if we were underground!!! We would still have a fantastic time. Its such a disappointment when the weather isn't good. We have rain and grey skies all year round so were really looking forward to some sun!

From what I can gather from weather reports, the bad weather is here to stay for most of this month. If anyone can tell me any differently, please do!!!

Dont worry, weather is fine at year end.

Our showers are torrential which is basicall all hell break lose and after that it is clear skies.

So enjoy yourselves, water over there is beautiful and congrats.
