Tel Aviv-Yafo Travel Forum

I am flying to Israel in May then going to Jordan and Egypt then back to Tel Aviv. I am trying to minmize my expenses and to that end, could anyone tell me of a nice, reasonably priced, hotel or hostel, close to the train station so I can avoid using a taxi to Ben Gurion.

The train stations are east of the city so you wouldn't find too many places there (unless you want to go to the Sheraton Towers hotel in Ramat Gan). Anyway, it's not a problem to take a bus from the beach area, where the hotels are located to the train station. You don't need a taxi for that.

Well, I've never had to sleep in a hotel here... But, I've heard good things about "Hayarkon 48" and the place looks decent from the outside. There are few nice small hotels in Tel Aviv and are not expensive:
